Emergency Economic Forum09/27/2008 - 11:00am Join us Saturday, 9/27 at 11am in Mount Laurel
I know New Jersey’s families are struggling. Skyrocketing property taxes and utility bills are stretching paychecks. Gas is approaching $4 a gallon. And New Jersey’s unemployment rate hit a five-year high last month. We need commonsense, experienced leadership in this time of economic crisis. Amazingly, Chris Myers—like George Bush—thinks our economy is “basically strong.” Like Bush, Myers supports subsidies totaling more than $18 billion for oil companies even as they pocket record profits… while New Jersey residents pay close to $4 a gallon. Like Bush, Myers tax supports tax breaks for big businesses that outsource jobs and the super-rich… while middle class families struggle. Bush and Myers are so close, Bush even flew to New Jersey this year on September 22 to personally raise money for Myers' campaign. New Jersey families can’t afford more of the same Republican failures. Tough economic times demand tough leadership. I am committed to standing up for our families— protecting middle class tax cuts and growing our economy with more, good-paying jobs. Nothing is more important to me than your opinions— I want to hear your views on the economic crisis and bailout. That's why I'm hosting an emergency economic forum tomorrow, September 27 at the Mount Laurel Library. With hard work and fresh ideas, we can put America back on track. Join me in the fight for change—and come share your views this Saturday, September 27. Mount Laurel Library - 11:00 am For questions, please call (856) 222-9707 or email info@adlerforcongress.com |
