Kudos to Congressmen John Adler and Patrick Murphy for voting against an automatic pay raise for themselves and other members of Congress.

It is heartwarming to know that they have taken into account the fact that we seniors did not receive a cost-of-living adjustment despite the increases in prescription drugs and property taxes (Burlington County Times, Jan. 29).

It feels good to know that someone in government is looking out for the American people instead of their own selfish self-interests.
